Evidence policy for public claims
imagineInk omits client identities, logos, testimonials, reviews, awards, exact prices, guarantees and quantified outcomes unless a current evidence record supplies the source, verified wording, owner, time window and publication permission.
High-risk claims
Results, rankings, revenue, lead counts, savings, awards, certifications, review scores, client identities and legal-compliance statements require stronger evidence than general capability descriptions.
How limitations are shown
The public wording should separate observation from attribution, identify incomplete data and avoid turning a correlation or forecast into an achieved outcome.
Corrections and expiry
Material factual errors should be corrected promptly. Time-sensitive claims should carry a review owner and date so stale evidence is not presented as current.
All benchmark methods follow our rules for evidence. See our active research and method guides.
Questions this page answers
Does this policy mean results cannot be discussed?
No. It means results should be accurate, sourced, time-bounded and permitted. Strong evidence makes performance stories more useful.
Can forecasts appear on the site?
Only when clearly labeled as estimates with inputs, exclusions and uncertainty. A forecast must never be presented as a guarantee or past result.
Who approves a client claim?
The evidence owner and authorized client or business approver should confirm the exact public wording and supporting material.
